My name is Quentin Thuet, I am working at Euro-Information (Crédit Mutuel) as Data Scientist.

Je suis diplômé de l'ENSEEIHT et de l'INSA Toulouse en Modélisation mathématique et en Intelligence Artificielle.

I graduated from the ENSEEIHT and the INSA Toulouse in Mathematical modeling and Artificial Intelligence.

Je suis passionné d'aéronautique et pratique quotidiennement la simulation de vol sur le réseau IVAO.

I am passionate about aviation and fly daily on the virtual network IVAO.

Simulation de volFlight simulation

Je pratique quotidiennement la simulation de vol sur Microsoft Flight Simulator et sur le réseau IVAO. Je vole principalement en IFR en Europe sur A320 que j'essaie de maîtriser au mieux pour suivre un maximum de procédures réelles. Dans le cadre de tour organisés par IVAO durant lesquels des contraintes doivent être respectées (par ex. vol IFR sans GPS), je pilote également un Beechcraft Bonanza G36 ainsi qu'un ATR 42-600.

I do flight simulation daily on Microsoft Flight Simulator and the IVAO network. I mainly fly IFR in Europe on an A320 that I try to master to follow as many real procedures as possible. In the context of tours with constraints (e.g. flying IFR without GPS) organized by IVAO, I also fly a Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and an ATR 42-600.

Simulation de contrôle aérienAir traffic control simulation

J'exerce la simulation de contrôle aérien sur le réseau IVAO (avec des pilotes humains également sur simulateur). Je contrôle l'aéroport de Bâle-Mulhouse aux positions de tour et de sol. Cet exercice me permet de perfectionner ma maîtrise des procédures.

I practice air traffic control simulation on the IVAO network (with human pilots also on a simulator). I mainly control the Basel Euroairport on the tower and ground positions. This exercise allows me to perfect my knowledge of procedures.

Aviation légèreGeneral aviation

Bien qu'intéressé principalement par l'aviation de ligne, ma passion pour l'aéronautique m'a bien sûr mené à m'essayer à l'aviation de loisir. J'ai volé quelques heures en double commande sur DR-300. Cette expérience géniale m'a motivé à passer mon PPL même si mes ressources financières ne m'ont pas encore permis de m'y lancer pleinement.

While I am mainly interested in airline, my passion for aviation pushed me to try general aviation. I duo-flew a few hours on a DR-300. This great experience motivated me to get my PPL even though my financial resources did not allow me to start training for the moment.

J'ai eu la chance de faire un vol d'initiation au planeur. Une expérience vraiment incroyable !

I had the chance to do an initiation flight on a glider. A truly amazing experience!

TEDxINPENSEEIHT

Chaque année, un événement TEDx est organisé à l'ENSEEIHT. J'ai participé à l'organisation du TEDxINPENSEEIHT 2021 qui s'est tenu en distanciel. J'étais en charge de trouver et de contacter des intervenants inspirants en lien avec le thème de cette année : "Changer les paradigmes".

A TEDx event takes place every year at ENSEEIHT. I took part to the TEDxINPENSEEIHT 2021 organisation. The event took place remotely. I was in charge of finding and contacting inspiring speakers. The theme of the event was : "Paradigm shift".

DeepSea

DeepSea - The I-Roboat Challenge est un concours organisé par Virtual Regatta et Accenture. L'objectif est de développer un modèle de machine learning permettant de contrôler automatiquement un bateau lors d'une course transatlantique. J'ai participé avec 4 étudiants de ModIA. Notre 4ème place nous a permis de nous qualifier pour la Route du Rhum virtuelle qui aura lieu début novembre.

DeepSea - The I-Roboat Challenge has been organized by Virtual Regatta and Accenture. The objective is to develop a machine learning model that will automatically control a boat during a transatlantic race. I took part to the challenge with 4 ModIA students. We finished 4th and are now qualified for the virtual Route du Rhum that will take place in early November.

Développement de jeux vidéosGame development

Ayant toujours été intéressé par les jeux vidéos et leur développement, j'ai pris part à des formations et des challenges de développement organisés par 7Fault, le club de développement de jeux vidéos de l'ENSEEIHT. Je mène également quelques développements de mon côté.

I already have been interested in video games and game development. I took part to trainings and challenges organised by 7Fault, the game development club of ENSEEIHT. I also worked on some little projects of my own.

CybersécuritéCybersecurity

La cybersécurité étant aujourd'hui un enjeu capital, je me suis formé en suivant le MOOC SecNumAcadémie de l'ANSSI. J'ai également pris part au challenge WaveGame organisé par Wavestone. Notre équipe à terminé dans le top 20, un très bon classement étant donnée notre faible expérience comparée à nos concurrents.

Cybersecurity being today a major issue, I followed an online course organized by the french cybersecurity agency (MOOC SecNumAcadémie by ANSSI). I also took part to the WaveGame challenge, organized by Wavestone. Our team finished in the top 20, a good rank giving our experience compared to the other teams.

ASTRE

L'ASTRE (Association Spatiale Toulousaine de Recherche Etudiante) est une association qui permet à des étudiants de 4 écoles et universités toulousaines de prendre part à des projets spatiaux ambitieux. J'ai été élu vice-président de l'ASTRE de mai 2020 à mai 2021.

ASTRE ("Association Spatiale Toulousaine de Recherche Etudiante" or Toulouse Space Association for Student Research) is an association allowing students from 4 schools and universities to take part to ambitious space projects. I have been elected Vice-President of ASTRE from May 2020 to May 2021.

TOLOSAT

TOLOSAT est un projet de CubeSat 3U (petit satellite de 30cmx10cmx10cm) de l'ASTRE et du Club CubeSat Supaero. Plusieurs expériences seront embarquées. Le lancement est prévu pour 2024 au plus tôt. J'ai travaillé au sein de l'équipe AOCS (contrôle d'attitude) durant l'année scolaire 2019-2020.

TOLOSAT is a 3U CubeSat (small satellite, 30cmx10cmx10cm) project by the ASTRE and Club CubeSat Supaero. Many experiments will be on board. Launch is scheduled in 2024. I worked in the AOCS team (Attitude and Orbit Control System) during school year 2019-2020.

European Defence Challenge

L'EDC est organisé par le consortium ASSETS+. Ce challenge est ouvert à tout étudiant européen. L'objectif est de proposer une innovation technologique en répondant à la question suivante : *Dans quelle mesure des éléments non humains peuvent interagir avec des humains dans le cadre d'opérations de défense ?*. Je participe en binôme et nous sommes actuellement en finale. Vous trouverez la proposition que nous avons soumis lors de la première étape du challenge en cliquant sur cette vignette. The European Defence Challenge has been created by the ASSETS+ consortium. This challenge is to every european student. The objective is to propose a techological innovation while answering the following question : *Remote everything? To what extent can unmanned assets interact with humans in the field for defence operations?* I take part to this challenge in duo and we are currently in finale.
